Today I was in car wreck. I was in a parking lot going straight and the other driver turned left in to my car. She has dented the whole left side of my car. So i was looking at how much insurance would cost me for it because i hear that its expensive and im a full time student and work minimum wage job, so its not like i have money just to shoot out my *** for fun. So i go onto progressive's, and enter all my real info like age and stuff(but lie about my actual address and name and email cause i dont want constant ads and spam). And i got cheaper than expected quotes.....So i put in, 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250r. Male. Turning 18 in july. Put in that i have motorcycle endorsement and taken safety course(i havent yet, but i will by the time i actually own a bike and have to buy insurance for real). No accidents or tickets. 0 years riding experience(although i ran multiple quotes and noticed price drops by $29 for a 12month policy if youve had even 1 year of riding experience, which is nice). And i got a quote for $285 12month policy. For Bodily Injury & Property Damage 50/100/25. Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury 25/50. $100 deductible on comprehensive for bike(again i ran multiple quotes, and changing the deductible amount on comprehensive only saves a few bucks). $500 deductible for collision(this deductible amount changes your rate incredibly). No other coverage. Got quoted $285...seems kinda cheap to me considering im so young? Not complaining that i save money....just wondering if this sounds normal? So, there were a bunch of changes made to health insurance due to the Health Reform. i heard that the coverage i get from my parents (since i am a dependent) will last until i'm 26 now, instead of 21. we have western health advantage through my mom's work (i think) and live in california (not sure if that makes a difference). anyways, i'm 18 and currently in college. next semester i'm hoping to take off so that i can work full time and save up money so that i wont have to be so financially dependent on my parents in the near future. do i have to be in school in order to still be on my parents' health insurance? i will still be dependent until i get my own apartment and get married, which will be in about a year or 2

I have USAA insurance for my car in Hawaii but I'm going back to Florida soon and when I try to quote my truck in Florida it quotes it for Hawaii. Individual health insurance with fibromyalgia?

I have fibromyalgia, was diagnosed years ago. I have not had insurance for about half of that time. Does anyone know how to find affordable individual health insurance with a preexsisting condition? I have foun d plenty of plans that will cover me eventually but I cannot afford to pay the insurance premium and my doctors visits and prescriptions while I wait six mths to a year to get covered. Please do NOT suggest e-surance, they do not have affordable plans that cover pre-exsisting.

If your car seat is stolen out of your car, is it replaced because you have car insurance? I have car insurance, but I don't believe it said anywhere they were going to replace personal belongings. I'm going on holiday in a couple if weeks and have already bought travel insurance that covers everything apart from the use if quad bikes. I need advice about applying to and paying for some type of insurance. This would be on behalf of my mother so when the time comes for her to leave me, I will be able to pay for her funeral. I have spoken to her but she is stubborn and set in her ways and thinks I will automatically be able to cover the financial costs for her funeral when she does pass away. I dont care for money for myself, I just want to know that I can pay into something so upon her passing I will be able to pay for her funeral costs (instead of my mum taking out the insurance/policy it would be me on her bahalf as she is terrible for thinking about stuff like that). Why did my homeowner's insurance double?

I have made no claims on the insurance and absolutely nothing has changed with the house (no pool, no trampoline, no dog, nothing.) Everything is identical to when I renewed last. Why would the insurance double when nothing has changed whatsoever?
